Reflecting Fortitude, Lifting Community at 2026 MTC COMMUNITY DAY
Three (3) Events to Connect Community
Saturday, August 1st | 9:30AM Check-in; 10:00AM Acknowledgements & Recognitions
In partnership with our councilmember CM Zac Unger and support of CM Carroll Fife, members and friends of MTC will commemorate the location of the old historic church -- 1711 - 7th Street.
Despite the devastation caused through eminent domain, Memorial Tabernacle Church (then known as Christ Holy Sanctified Church) remains rooted in Christ and Oakland.
Saturday, August 1st | 11:00AM - 1:00PM
Each step brings together the connection of the past and the present, moments of reflection and inspiration for the future. This 4-mile guided tour will highlight the beauty of two (2) communities in one city loved by the church that calls it home.
Saturday, August 1st | 1:00PM - 4:00PM
Support the annual anniversary fundraiser by getting some good food, sweet treats and a cool new item for your home or closet! Cash is strong encouraged.
